Nancy Lindquist hits a home run with How to Conjure a Man. Between the electric chemistry flaring between main characters, Becky and Rick, and the sharp wit that kept me laughing throughout, this book is on my keeper shelf!
Newcomer, Nancy Lindquist has penned a tale for Samhain Publishing that is original, funny, poignant, incredibly sensual and downright sexy. Both Becky and Rick are very real characters with faults and hang-ups. The Buckin’ Bronco makes a fantastic backdrop as Becky and Rick’s relationship unfolds. Filled with memorable secondary characters and a touch of magic, this is a book well worth checking out. Can’t wait to see what Nancy Lindquist does next!
This is the debut novel for Nancy Lindquist, and I’m sure we’re going to be seeing a lot more from this author. Becky and Rick are great together. The characters are all well-written and seem like someone you might meet in real life. The story flows well, and will keep your interest. I loved the bit of magic and wonder, along with the humor that had me laughing out loud. I really enjoyed Rick’s surprise on the first night of work, and how the character handled it. The main characters sizzle together, making this one hot story. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been a little bit more conflict, but then I love conflict in books.
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more books from Nancy Lindquist!
HOW TO CONJURE A MAN is more of a comical romance than a sexy erotic story. There are a few hot sex scenes (like when Becky works the pole in the club like a pro when she thinks no one is watching) but the storyline is much more than a sex fest. The character interaction is well planned, and it captures and holds your attention. Becky is a shy and lonely woman who craves companionship and romance. When she finally finds it, she is unsure if their feelings are a result of the spell or really everlasting. Rick is on the rebound and is determined not to find another woman like his ex-wife. His feelings for Becky are so intense that they frighten him because he has never wanted a woman as much as he wants her.

How to Conjure A Man is a hot, tantalizing read. Rick is the perfect blend of hunk and sensitive man. I loved his reactions to Becky, and the fact that he was willing to talk about problems and face them head on. The physical attraction between the two is very strong, making for some steamy scenes.

How To Conjure A Man by Nancy Lindquist is extra hot. This is a story that will leave you hot and wanting more. I love the opening scene of this story, I couldn’t stop laughing. This whole story is absolutely wonderful it has humor, sexy scenes, and a lot of love. It will make you want to try and conjure your own perfect man. I liked the ups and downs this story provided. And of course a woman has to interfere and try to shake up this story. Becky is a woman who is sensual and needs that one man who can love and need her. And who wouldn’t want to meet Rick, he’s totally hot. I can’t wait to see more from Ms. Lindquist. Thank you for this great story.

Nancy Lindquist’s HOW TO CONJURE A MAN is a delightful read that is sure to enchant readers. You’ll adore the witty plot, cast of fun characters and underlying sexual tension. I absolutely loved the scenes that take place inside the Buckin’ Bronco. It serves as the perfect backdrop for the passion that flares to life between Becky and Rick. This story is sure to provide readers with a rip-roaring good time and a better understanding of why “what happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas!” Congratulations Ms. Lindquist on a fabulous debut novel.

I’m not sure I have ever met a man more sexy than the one Nancy Lindquist has written for us here. As we get to know Matt he reveals himself to be kind, loyal, smart, just dominant enough to qualify as alpha without being over-bearing…and needless to say, sexy as all get out! Yet this paragon comes across as real as anyone. Lisa is also true to life, with all the insecurities which frequently plague women. I must say I was outraged when she attempts to give him the boot. You’d have to be certifiable to do so, even though I could understand her fear of being burned…but what a way to go!! I would recommend Lady Lillian’s Guide to Amazing Sex to anyone looking for an amazingly yummy man to fall in love with! Recommended Read
