    Oh, that is priceless! I used my daughters last one (after she gave them up) and put it inside a glass, well, plastic ornament with a sign that said “Break Glass In Emergency”. She was rather attached to hers as well! :)

    LOL! I used to do that! I had one for my mouth, one to carry. (I did manage to give them up, oh nigh onto 39 years ago…)

    You are right, he does need a patch. Maybe he could taper off gradually, just in case he still drops one now and then.

    LOL! My oldest had one until she was four, and my middle had one until he was three. My youngest never took one. But her vice is the boob.

    Cut holes in them. That’s what I did. Of course, he still carries it around sometimes, but it’s out of his mouth.
