Thirteen Writing Things I’m Up To:

 1. I have two pieces being considered for, Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul.

2. I am submitting shorts to Chicken Soup for the Runner’s Soul and a Mother’s Soul book.

3. I have a non fiction book of rituals for pagan families in the works.

4. I have a fiction book on cruising I’m almost done with.

5. I’m writing poetry again.

6. I have a book of questions to ask before you consider adoption I’m kicking around.

7. I have several long blog posts in the works. I take my blog very seriously and I love writing in it.

8. I am working on more short stories.

 9. I am writing a cookbook for my kids one day.

10. I am writing children’s stories for my boys.

11. I am keeping a list of lines I want to use in books.

12. I have four plots very heavily outlined and ready to begin work on.

13. I am going to submit twelve books/short stories this year and I’m almost halfway there. Ahead of schedule.

Next week: the thirteen things I do to sabotage my writing.

You are one busy lady, Nancy. Good luck with all your projects. I love the idea of you writing a cookbook for your boys. My mom did that for us years ago. She got bound journals and wrote simple recipes along with family favorites. It’s fantastic!

I think adoption is a terrific subject, and I’m sure you’ll make it compelling to a wider audience. Good luck!
