MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Okay, I have books coming out. Which is VERY exciting, but this is better.
Normally, I never cross over my blogs. The family blog is the other blog. This is about other things. However, this announcement is so major, it’s here.
I have a MAJOR announcement. Are you sitting down? HERNE IS PEEING IN THE POTTY!
Okay, he’s four, but he’s also autistic and we were told not to expect this for another year. We tried coaxing and bribing and everything. Today he took his diaper off, and would not put it back on. I found pee in the little potty, but I thought it was the cat (it’s been known to happen). Tonight I finally figured out that the cat wasn’t peeing that much. Who could it be?
The big boys were gone and JJ had a diaper on all day. Was it Herne? We just got our proof. He did it right in front of us.
I feel like I just won an Academy Award! This is SUPER BIG.
No bribes, no threats, just Herne not wanting to wear a diaper. Steven said he’s been peeing in front of him, to show him how. Herne is very motivated by brothers. He’s not into being a little kid anymore.

Huge Congrats to Herne and of course to you, I can tell how proud you are!
