Edits

I got my first round of edits on my summer short for the Midsummer Night’s Steam release at Samhain. OUCH! and ouch again. I’ve never had so many edits, re-writes and fixes. Which is fine, because it’s going to be a hell of a story. Just a hum-dinger, as my grandma used to say. Still, those notes were an ego buster.
Just when you think you’re improving, whammo! right between the eyes.

Hi Nancy,
I’m sure it will be great. And I know what you mean about edits. I had so many on my first book, it was depressing for me. But my book is so much better for all the rewrites.

I was pleasantly surprised with the edits for my first book. Here’s hoping that my next release will be as light (but I’m not holding my breath). Good luck with the edits, Nancy.
