It’s Wednesday! So Who Has Me All…
By Nancy Lindquist | March 12, 2007
What Happened to, “Accountability Wednesday?”
I’m moving it to Saturday’s starting this week. I hope you enjoy this new feature. Look for a brand new weekly line-up starting today!
Sunday: Flash Fiction
Monday: Editorial
Tuesday: No more poetry. Instead I will devote the day to excerpts from my work, sneak peeks at works in progress, author angst and updates.
Wednesday: “Who Has Me All…” A brand new feature! What’s hot in my world and what’s not.
Thursday: The Thursday Thirteen. Check in out, starting tomorrow.
Friday: Editorials
Saturday: Accountability Saturday. Keeping me honest, since 2007.
Hot and Bothered:
I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I’m totally crushing on John Stamos right now. I’m even watching, “ER” again to see him. No matter what changes take place in the tastes of America’s women, he’s got a pulse on it. I loved him as, Blackie, I loved him as anything else he was in and I love him now. He knocks on the door and I am so gone. “Bye kids, husband, dogs, etc.” Since that is as likely to happen as my winning the Lottery, or less, I’d say the family is safe. He’s still damn hot. I totally need to put his yummy ass in a book.
Here’s to ya, sexy.
Ready to Bitch Slap Them:
La Spears. Miss Brittany is not really the problem. The media frenzied whores all using her breakdown to fuel their agendas are. The woman had two kids in two years and is going through a divorce. Hell, I’d shave my head too. I might even stop wearing undies. Shit, I’d end up peeing in public and be carted off to the nut farm. It might or might not be PostPartum Depression. I don’t get why people are busy slapping a label on stress and depression. It’s stress and depression. It is what it is and no one needs to label it. Let the woman fall apart in peace and privacy.
Excited to Read:
Amanda Young just put out, “Something More” at Loose ID yesterday. I shove her down people’s throats a lot, but hell, she goes down easy (her writing, perv). She’s got another book, “Missing in Action” coming out at Samhain Publishing on the twentieth. Go Mandi!
Happy:
Spring is on the way and I can run again. It’s supposed to be in the fifties next week. I’m trotting off to Running Fit’s new store, just around the corner, and buying new Nike’s. WOOHOO!
Dressing Up:
The Romantic Times Booklovers Convention. I’m currently in the middle of a costuming nightmare that is bringing me a hell of a lot of joy. I have most of my fabric, except the Fairy Ball costume. That one eludes me. I’m scared that I will look like a bumblebee. You know, bit torso, teeny little wings.
Bias cut, or gored? Hmmm.
Running For:
There’s a race on the eleventh for St. Patrick’s Day, “Shamrocks and Shenanigans.” It’s a 5k, which is 3.2 miles. Still undecided, but leaning towards doing it. There will be beer at the finish line.
Jonesing For:
I’m in the process of hand dipping chocolates to give as a prize at the aforementioned convention. It’s damn hard to resist hand dipped chocolates. Good thing I run.
